Genuine facebook campaign started from darlington needing support

Bikers Who Want To Live!

This is the title for a group added on facebook by myself.  Its purpose is to get enough members of the biking community and their familys to show that no longer will we be disregarded when roads are built or maintained.  Although it does seem to emphasis on man hole covers and their unthoughful placement, or lack of antislip substances, it does also cover all road hazards.  These would include white lines and cheap non antislip tarmac where roundabouts have 'just'  been replaced (see a66 meeting the bypass near great burden) etc etc.

Whilst doing my research i came across a study showing that we as motorcyclists are only 2 percent of the uk road users.  well damn it!  Its a percentage, not a straight figure and im sure there is enough of us to stand up make it know that we will not stand for being put at risk by local authorities, the Highways Agencey and company's owning the hazards what ever they may be.  2 percent can still be a big number.

I would please ask that rather than just join if you wish to, please join in and create topic linked discussions.  Although i am admining this, i am not by far the only biker on the road.  It needs to be a community stand, not just me.

Again the group is called Bikers Who Want To Live

If you have any expertese or know anyone who could help with the campaign, please inform them of the group and ask them join themselves.  i can be contaced here or facebook (see page admin)

Is your licence a ‘fake’?
Law

A Motorcyclist says he was treated like a criminal after DVLA issued him with a driving licence containing a hidden incriminating message.

Michael Harris’ licence appears normal until photocopied, when the word “fake” appears several times across the bottom.

He is one of nearly four million people to be issued with such a licence in an effort to prevent photocopies being passed off as originals.
